“Syrma” is the most interesting and emblematic architectural structure in Milos.
In Cycladic tradition “Syrma” was the small fisherman’s house and it is usually located directly by the sea.
“Syrma” is a 100% eco-friendly accommodation powered exclusively by solar panels and a gravity-fed water system.

Eco Sirma Flaris

Located 1m from the sea with crystal clear water.

This “Syrma” is a small maisonette consisting of two floors.

A narrow traditional staircase connects the ground floor with the upper floor. There are two single beds on the upper floor, the toilet, and the shower. There is the kitchen in a separate room on the upper floor as well, and the bedroom opens onto a lovely balcony with a nice view of the bay, the sea, and the other houses.

When you open the door on the ground floor, you can go straight to the sea, with three-four steps.

Last but not least, the “Syrma” has zero environmental footprint because all its energy comes from solar panels. This, of course, means that it does not have air-conditioners, but has ceiling fans for low energy consumption. The installation and use of air conditioning are unnecessary because it is very cool and airy all year time.

The water supply is through a tank located just outside the “Syrma” and connected to a small pipe which means that you can consume water, but you have to be very careful with its consumption.

Fourkovouni Milos

Fourkovouni is a small settlement with about 20 “Syrma” houses, located in the bay of Milos, in an idyllic place with an authentic pure Cycladic character.

It is close to Plaka, the capital city of Milos, about 5 km distance. As we reach Fourkovouni, we pass in front of Plathiena beach, one of the most stunning beaches of Milos. The sun is setting on this beach and you can relax there until late and enjoy the sunset in this westside beach.
